SDTC's 2nd Annual Fast CAT Event
Suburban Dog Training Club and the Borzoi Club of Delaware Valley’ jointly produced the 2020 Fast CAT trials which were held on Oct. 24th & 25th at Green Lane Park in Upper Montgomery County, PA.
We began the runs at 9 am both days and finished before 3 pm. The weather held until Sunday about 2 pm, when the rain began.
136 dogs were entered overall, with 125 dogs running at least once. Twenty dogs earned their B-CAT titles (=first level at 150 points), three dogs earned their D-CAT titles (=second level at 500 points) and three dogs earned their FAST CAT titles (=third/top level at 1,000 points).
The fastest dog racing at the trials was a Borzoi at 30 mph. The Lure Operator was Diane Bruder (PA), the Trial Secretary was Lizz Molloy (NJ) and our professional photographer was Stephen Faucher (Massachusetts).
